systems, records and registers, to include: Ensuring Engineering Folder / File Management, Ensuring Drawing Folder / File Management, Monitoring and Reporting of Project Time-WritingResponsible for Responsible for the development and execution of Design Services systems and methods.<br />· Responsible for processing of Design Services inquiries / estimates through:<br />· Understanding of the methodology of inquiry processing and includes participation with and guiding team members in the following stages:<br />· Bid Planning<br />· Development of Scopes of Work<br />· Production of Execution Plan<br />· Estimating<br />· CTR Production<br />· Proposal Formatting and Collation<br />· Submission Review and Approval<br />· Responsible for progressing Design Services project elements to meet project milestones, to include:<br />· Development of design project activity encompassing the following disciplines: Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Machining.<br />· Projects may include for<br />· Compilation of crane design data packages consisting of calculations, method-statements, planning charts, drawings and implementation procedures for internal, client or Third Party Design Review.<br />· Preparation of FEA analysis reports for cranes and associated components<br />· Design review of crane upgrade and/or modification scopes of work in accordance with applicable engineering standards and legislation<br />· FMEA / FMECA studies of cranes and associated equipment<br />· Mechanical Handling / Lifting projects<br />· Implementation of site and/or offshore surveys and preparation of detailed survey reports<br />· In this instance success is measured by attainment of the Business Plan Turnover and Profit and the delivery of projects to Safety and Quality standards.<br />· Responsible for ensuring project elements are checked and reviewed according to QA procedures.<br />Communication<br />· In line with Company systems, the position requires the organization of activity reviews based on project plans and subsequent prioritization and the conducting of weekly review meetings.<br />· Conduct internal meetings to progress ongoing, urgent or overdue issues.<br />· Liaison with VP, Projects & Technology and Team Leaders to ensure projects are progressing satisfactorily and milestones are met.<br />· Liaison with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and company staff as required<br />· Responsible for the development and delivery of appropriate project reportage to reflect project progress and the strategic development /><br /><br /><strong>REQUIRED SKILLS:</strong><br /><strong></strong><br />· Engineering Degree, Qualified in Structural, Civil or Mechanical Engineering<br />· Professional Engineer (PE) Certified<br />· Minimum of five years experience in structural, civil or mechanical design projects in offshore industry (or similar)<br />· Solid background in engineering analysis and design
