Project Director (LNG-CCGT Project) up to $15,000 USD per month

Duties & Responsibilities
* Directs, manages and coordinates large (US$2.5 BN) and complex Project that includes LNG Terminals, on-shore Re-gasification system, 2 x 700 MW CCGT combining Boiler, Turbine and Generator, Heat Recovery Boilers, Balance of Plant, Fuel System, Water system, start up and evacuation EHV system, Distribution and other Auxiliary systems
* Provides leadership through all phases- starting from managing pre-contract consortium(investors, bankers, major EPC, major infrastructure), several Commercial Understanding/Agreements (MOUs & MOA), Consortium Agreements various partners, Agreements with Union Government/Ministries, Power Purchase Agreements, other agreements with LNG feed suppliers and major sub-contractors
* Provides leadership to all phases of Project Implementation- design, procurement and construction by coordinating among out-sourced Engineering service companies, Project Management Consulting company, EPC companies. Sub-contractors, Vendors and relevant internal functional teams
* Represents on behalf of Project Developers, provides leadership to multi-functional Project Management Teams working for the Project and coordinates among all stakeholders,senior management and top executives
* Ensures relevant permitting, regulatory and statutory approvals as required according to rules and regulations in country preceding to start of relevant work
* Functions transparently with significant independence and minimal supervision as the Principal Project Representative of this prestigious project
* Should work co-operatively with Bankers, Investors, multiple developers/ developers’representatives, Regulatory bodies, Government representatives, Technology suppliers, EPC companies and other Infrastructure developers associated with Project
* Ensures that the Project is completed within budget and contractual Time line while meeting MOA and associated consortium guidelines, consortium objectives and Project guidelines
* Directs program of Projects, Project Managers and other functional managers to ensure successful competition and coordination of all efforts
* Conducts detailed construction cost estimate and documentation for Project Funding authorization. Is responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval
* Monitors progress, manages costs, gross margin, cash flow and working capital management efficiently
* Ensures engaging with and implementation of Project Quality Plan and achieve desired quality objectives as per defined International codes and standards
* Ensures implementing HSE Plan and achieve HSE objectives
* Implements ESIA (Environmental and Social Impact Analysis) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Plan and achieves respective objectives
* Directs SCM (Supply Chain Management) and logistics function, ensures all sub function like Pre-qualification, Bid evaluation, Procurement and Subcontracting process conducted according to project guidelines and company policies, set quality standards and meet financial objectives
* Expands project team with support from corporate HR, ensures appropriate resource mobilization through hiring according to acquisition plan and develops competency through training- Manages HR and Administration according to Company policies
* Establishes appropriate communication Plan, MIS and Reporting System for internal and external reporting, ensures reports to Management, Regulatory bodies, Consortium members. Bankers, Investors and other stakeholders according to established Reporting System.
Requirements
* Strong leadership experience in senior level above 25 years in managing large, complex combined cycle Power Plant/ Oil and Gas Projects as EPC Contractor or on behalf of Project Developer
* Possess wide experience in Project Execution and Construction of at least one complete CCPP (500MW) and managed major international vendors for Power equipment
* Boilers, Gas& Steam Turbines, Generators, Heat recovery system, and major BOP systems
* Managed Profit & Loss of a project over $200MN, working capital, cash flow and profitability
* Possess strong tech-commercial knowledge and hands-on experience to lead as major consortium partner in all commercial aspects of the Project including preparing, negotiating and finalizing commercial T&Cs, MOA, PPA and other Agreement, in close coordination with all stakeholders (Govt. Depts., Consortium partners, Bankers & Investors, EPC, major technology suppliers, Vendors and other associates)
* Ability to lead functional managers and heads in all technical, commercial, contracts, SCM,Project management, Planning, Quality, HR and financial aspects of the project
* Strong communication ability (speaking, reading and writing) in English and experience with European/US /China Vendors, manufacturers and EPC
* Should be University Graduate preferably in Engineering discipline and/or Business Administration with strong Project Management back ground in Mega projects in relevant field. * European/American with experience in SE Asia preferred
* Age: 55yrs approx. However retired person in 60+yrs. bracket with good health condition will be also considered
SALARY:
$8,000 USD TO 15,000 USD/Month depending on the experience
