Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
Compensation: $45,000 to $50,000

80% of job is CAD drafting/10% contract administration/10% site checking and preparing base building drawings
must be fully knowledgeable with AutoCAD
must be able to detail interior stairs, millwork, door and glazing frames
must be able to put together a set of construction documents from sketch details from designers
must follow in-house office standards
must know excel and word
must be able to coordinate drawings with mechanical, electrical and structural engineers
3-D modeling an asset,not mandatory
specification writing an asset, not mandatory
contract administration will include site reviews, field instructions, change orders, sketches.
Salary will be based on work experience and education
Year end bonuses if company makes money
Mileage at $0.40/km and disbursements re-imbursed
Rental cars arranged for out-of-town travel
Benefit package kicks in after 3 months probation period - includes dental/drugs/life insurance/short and long term disability insurance
No relocation allowances
Position is becoming vacant because individual wishes to pursue family business
10 days paid vacation per year
10 days paid stat holidays per year
Overtime is banked and taken hour for hour
