As our General Counsel, you will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters, including corporate governance, contract negotiation, intellectual property, and compliance with insurance-specific laws and regulations.</p><p><br /></p><p>The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department and possess strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance with insurance-specific laws and regulations. The candidate should also have experience in the insurance, mobility, and software development industries, as well as an interest in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><p>* Provide legal guidance and support on all legal and regulatory issues.</p><p>* Draft, review and negotiate a variety of legal agreements, including contracts, licensing agreements, and other legal documents.</p><p>* Manage the company's compliance with insurance-specific laws and regulations.</p><p>* Provide legal support on corporate governance and other matters.</p><p>* Manage outside counsel relationships and ensure efficient use of legal resources.</p><p><br /></p><p>Requirements:</p><p>* Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.</p><p>* 7+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.</p><p>* Strong knowledge of corporate law, contracts, intellectual property, and compliance with insurance-specific laws and regulations.</p><p>* Experience in the insurance, mobility, and software development industries.</p><p>* Interest in the electric vehicle (EV) industry.</p><p>* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</p><p>* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p><p>* Must be licensed to practice law in California.</p><p><br /></p><p>We offer a competitive salary, equity package, and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
