Job Description
We are hiring for Master Electrician to join our team to be responsible for installing and repairing complex electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems working from a technical blueprint. To perform in this role you need an electrician / electrical degree / NC certified and experience in the field working on simple and complex electrical systems..
At least 8 years relevant experience in this position with License and degree in related field are required.
In order to succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and team player.
Master Electrician Job Responsibilities:
* Installing and maintaining the electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical problems in commercial and domestic electrical systems including fault-finding, rewiring faulty electrical systems; such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms and monitoring electrical operational efficiency
* Conduct routine maintenance and testing on commercial and domestic electrical systems, and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards, including in fire alarms and security systems
* Ensure good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with the National Electrical Code and local building regulations and strictly follows safety requirements
* Able to read technical diagrams, circuitries and blueprints.
* Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components and troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
* Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
* Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
* Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
* Good knowledge of various test equipment.
* Electrician Requirements:
* At least 5 years’ experience doing general electrical works
* Willing to roll up one's sleeves and do hands-on electrical works
* With Valid driver's license preferred.
* Electrical or Electrician degree and or NC certified.
* Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
* Experience in renewable energy field ( Solar / Wind) is a plus.
Electrician Skills and Qualifications
Previous Electrical Experience, Lighting, Wiring, Alarm Systems, Fire Prevention Systems, Strong Written and Verbal Communication, Electrical Maintenance, Customer Service Skills, Risk Assessment, Electrician Apprenticeship, Diagnostics, Fault Finding, Organization, Initiative, Responsibility, Safety, Professional Appearance.
Master Electrician Requirements:
* At least 5 years’ experience doing general electrical works
* Licensed
* Willing to roll up one's sleeves and do hands-on electrical works
* With Valid driver's license preferred.
* Electrical or Electrician degree and or NC certified.
* Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints and maintenance and repair knowledge.
* Experience in renewable energy field is a plus.
* Flexibility - ability to work in both team works or independently
* With a valid passport
* Willing to work and be assigned in Lae City, Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea
